1 Weird Way To Gain Larger Muscle Size

Yes! You’ve seen those silly ads where it says, “hey, you are fatty right?, here is a way to get skinny again. Oh, and it is a weird way to. Like really weird.” Well I wouldn’t say these following techniques are weird, but they are defiantly unique and controversial which I guess makes them weird….

The weird tip here is this: weight lift, but without the weight… You may be saying “wait Vince, this is not right. How am I going to gain muscle if I’m not lifting any weights?” Well the truth is, you won’t gain any muscles. At least not directly. The true purpose of this is to focus on technique. But don’t worry, this workout is still weird. Imagine standing in the gym and lifting an invisible weight in front of everyone. It may be a funny scene, but do it. Just do it!

When you pick up a real weight, you will feel a difference. You will feel more of a pro. Kind of when you finally master the guitar (or guitar hero) and then the next time you play it just feels natural. The same applies here.

Another technique is to flex after you have just finished lifting a real weight. Put down the barbell and flex as hard as you can. Hold this flex for about 10 minutes. I’m joking! Hold it for about 5 seconds. But if you are feeling extra ambitious today, try going for the record time of 10 minutes. There is nothing weird about that, right?

The last thing I want to touch on is, sloooooow motion! You may not have ever heard of this but it is still an effective strategy. The next time you do an exercise involving weights such as dumbbells or barbells, do it in slow motion. Move as slow as you possibly can and keep your breath in sync with this slow motion. Go slow until you are convinced that someone put something in your drink and time is actually going by very slow. The slower you go, the more intense it gets.
